Welcome to South Shore Charter Public School

The 2012-2013 enrollment process has begun.  Our application packets are linked below and available for interested parties to download and complete.  All of the additional required paperwork that needs to be provided with the application will be listed at that time.

 Thank you for considering South Shore Charter Public School, a place where students from kindergarten to grade twelve are inspired to excel in academics, the arts, career and life. In September of 1995, the school opened in Hull.

In 2003, SSCPS moved to its current campus in Norwell. Although the physical plant and school’s location have changed over the years, our commitment to the founders original vision and mission continues. As stated in the original charter school proposal, we are committed to providing students with an education which fosters initiative, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and communication.

Students come from more than 23 different communities and, as a result, one of our major strengths is our diverse and multi-talented student body.

You will have the opportunity to tour the school and gain valuable information about South Shore Charter Public School at one of our 2 Open Houses:

  • Saturday November 19, 2011 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. 
  • Thursday January 12, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

The Enrollment Lottery will take place on Saturday February 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.  All applications are due no later than February 8, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
