Our Partnership with Holly Hill Farm

Holly Hill Farm, an organic farm located in Cohasset Massachusetts has helped educate students from South Shore Charter Public School for the past eleven years in their Education Garden.  Students at Holly Hill Farm learn how to prepare the soil, plant and tend the garden and then write about it in their journals.  They also learn math, science, art, creative writing and the love of nature through an intensive hands-on gardening curriculum designed specifically for our students.  Johnny Belber, Holly Hill Farm’s Director of Education, has organized SSCPS student art and writing from the garden project into a beautiful calendar.  Calendars are available for purchase at the front desk for $20.00.  All proceeds will benefit the SSCPS garden project and Holly Hill Farm.
