2023 LITERACY LANE

This fall, the SSCPS Community Service Project will be hosting Literacy Lane, a literary themed trunk-or-treat event for our K-6 students! Join us for an afternoon of celebrating literature through car trunk displays, character costumes, and more. Students will have the opportunity to wander from car to car to visit trunks decorated to represent a favorite book, character, or literary series. Students and families are encouraged to dress up as their favorite literary characters!

We'll have lots of fun activities at Literary Lane, including:

  • Photo Booth
  • Free Book Fair
  • Refreshments
  • Live Music
  • Volunteer Opportunities

...and more! We will also be collecting donations of nonperishable food items for local food banks.

*Please note this is NOT a drop-off event, and all students attending Literacy Lane will need to be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.

Please join us Saturday, October 21st, 2023 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at 100 Longwater Circle.
